On the Ledge: for John

Yet another attempt at the same scene as here, here and here (Fitz & Molly on the rocky ledge under Buckkeep Castle, having a picnic in the wind). This one is to be added to the book we are making as a present for our dear John.

This is an illustration of one of my favourite passages of Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb, because it creates such a strong image. I can sit down next to them and feel the wind and the sea spray, I can hear the gulls in the air up above and the waves crashing on the cliffs down below.
