That's it! My time in Geneva and its 3-hour daily commute is finally over! Looking back, it was a nice job and my colleagues were friendly, but the people I think I'm actually going to miss the most is Doushka who served me coffee every morning, and the couple of homeless people I was seeing every day on the island, and whom I finally talked to, to say farewell and give a panettone, yesterday.

I'm looking forward to beginning my new job (designer for counseling engineers in transportation, 10 minutes from home), but before that I'm now facing 6 weeks off (YAY!), thanks to combined extra hours, Christmas break and paid holidays. During those, Mat and I will be going back to NZ for a month. I must say that even though it was nice to have all that snow this week, I'm really can't wait to enjoy the sun and warmth of summer.
